the plain indians lived in the area from the Mississippi river to the rocky mountains and from canada down to mexico. the important tribes were the Sioux, Blackfoot, Cheyenne, Crow, Kiowa, and Comanche. It would be hotter then 100 degrees in the summer and would drop to 40 below zero in the winter. Teepees is where the inians would live if they were out hunting. And in the village they would live in earth lodges.

The plain Indians relied heavily on hunting buffalo. They used every part of the buffalo. The meat was used for food. The skin was used to for shelter. It was also used for clothing. They used them for fuel. They were also used for tools, weapons, and equipment. They also used the hoofs to make glue or would make ornaments out of the bones. They caught and trained while horses that they stole from enemy tribes.

the great plains were made up of grasslands, valleys, streams, and hills. There weren’t many trees in the great plain area. Summers were hot and the winters were long and cold. They had many wild animals that they used to survive. They used them for food, tools, ornaments, shelter, and clothing. They were talented artist. Most of there art work was done by painting. They painted on teepees, clothing, and religious objects. This is cool.

Her parents are Cronus and Rhea. She became the mother of Persephone. She has the power to teach mankind the art of sowing and ploughing. She was married to Hermes.
