My name is Kyle Gerwin.  I work at North Branch Nursery.  I'm in construction electricity at Penta.  I like history, I think that it is very interesting. My presentation is on Copan the city in Handurase.

The plains are located from the very bottom of the U.S. to about the middle of Canada. This great plans area is made up of green grass and valleys. Summers are very hot and winers are very cooled and very long. Also in the great plans there are very many wild animals that the plains indians used to there advantage.

This website tells all about the diffrent tribes that were located in the Great Plains. The three tribes that this website comments on is the sioux, the cheyenne, and the arapaho. In this website it goes into great detail on what exactly these tribes did and how they survived. The sioux tribe was the tribe that was located at the highest part of the plains. The cheyenne tribe was also located in the same region. Finally the arapaho tribe is unforchanitally disinced.

            Demeter was in charge of earth. She was the sister of Zeus. She was associated with bringing forth the fruits of the earth and was also called the goddess of planned society. Her parents are Cronus and Rhea. She became the mother of Persephone. She has the power to teach mankind the art of sowing and ploughing. She was married to Hermes.

Persephone

 

            Persephone is the god of the underworld. She’s the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. The earth opened up when she was collecting flowers and was abducted and was made into the underworld. Her parents are Zeus and Demeter. She has no kids. She had the power to refuse anything to grow. She was not married.

Hades:
            Hades is ruler of the dead and lord of the underworld. He obtained this power by getting it given to him. Hades gets his two helps that he sends up to the upper world to do bad things to people so that the people will be sent down to the under world to Hades. Hades parents are Cronos and Rhea. Hades has no famous off spring. Hades has this special helmet that when he puts it on it makes him invisible. Hades has no spouse.

Poseidon:
            He is a god of many names but is known for being the god of the sea. He got this power by getting it given to him. People gave sacrifices to him for his good deed. Poseidon parents are Cronos and Rhea. It is not stated that Poseidon has no offspring. This god has no amazing powers listed. It is not stated that Poseidon has a spouse but he does had a big love affair with Demeter, his sister.
 
 
 
 
Zeus:
            Zeus is the god of the sky or the upper world, Mt. Olympus. He got this rule by getting it given to him. They have the Olympus games up in the Upper land. Zeus’s parents are Cronos and Rhea. Zeus has a very famous offspring, his name was Hurcules. Zeus has the power to throw lightning bolts and control the thunder and rain. His spouse is Hera.

Uranus:

This god is the god of the sky.  He was the first ruler of all greek gods.  Uranus didn’t help anybody while he was in power.  Uranus’s parent was Gaia (the earth).  Uranus had six sons (Oceanus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Iapetus and Cronus) and six daughters (Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe and Tethys).  Uranus had no special powers as a god.  Uranus’s wife was Giai who also was his parent.

Cronos:

            Cronos was the leader of all the titans.  He cut his fathers crochal regen off.  After he cut it off it fell into the water.  Cronos was associated with no one.  Coronos parent  was Gaea, that was his mother.  Coronos famous off-spring are Demeter, Hestia, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus.  Cronos had no special powers but he has a special object called a sickle.  Cronos wife was Rhea, who had all there babies
